Set up the Rabby Wallet extension on your desktop browser to start managing your assets.
Install Rabby Wallet Extension
Download the extension from our official website: https://rabby.io/
Supported Browsers: Chrome, Brave, Edge.
Note: Rabby Extension is designed for desktop use and is not compatible with mobile browsers.
Once installed, a setup page will automatically open to guide you through the next steps.
Create a new address
If you don't have a wallet yet, select Create a new address to get started.
1) Set up your password
Create a strong password to unlock the extension and encrypt your local data.
Note: Rabby does not store your password. If forgotten, please reset Rabby to create a new password.
Password vs. Seed Phrase: The password only unlocks the extension on your current device. The Seed Phrase is what actually controls and recovers your addresses.
Once your password is set, you can click Open Wallet to start using Rabby.
2) Back up your Seed Phrase (Recommended)
We recommend backing up your seed phrase as soon as possible. Click Back up Seed phrase now to view your 12-word phrase. This phrase is the master key to your wallet. Write it down and store it in a secure location.
Why it's necessary: If your device is damaged or browser data is lost, this phrase is the only way to recover your assets. Rabby does not store your phrase and cannot help you restore your wallet if it is lost.
Keep it private: Anyone with these 12 words has full control over your funds. Rabby staff will never ask for your seed phrase.
Stay offline: Avoid storing your phrase in emails, cloud notes, or screenshots. Keeping it on a physical piece of paper ensures it cannot be accessed by hackers or malware.
Once your wallet is created and backed up, you're ready to start using Rabby.
Importing addresses you already have
If you are already using an EVM-compatible wallet (such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or OKX), click I already have an address to proceed.
1) Select your import method
Seed Phrase or Private Key: Manually input them to add your existing wallet.
Hardware Wallet: Connect devices including Ledger, Trezor, OneKey, Keystone, GridPlus, imKey, BitBox02, NGRAVE ZERO, or AirGap.
2) Set up your password
Create a strong password to unlock the extension and encrypt your local data.
Note: Rabby does not store your password. If forgotten, please reset Rabby to create a new password.
After adding your addresses, Rabby Wallet automatically displays your tokens, NFTs, and DeFi assets across all supported EVM chains—no manual import
