Connecting your Ledger

Updated yesterday

Rabby Wallet provides a highly reliable integration for Ledger users. Follow the steps below to connect your device for a more efficient signing experience with fewer connection errors.

Browser Extension (First-Time Setup)

After installing the Rabby extension, the onboarding page will open automatically.

1) Click I already have an address > Hardware Wallet > Ledger.

2) Set password: Create a strong password to unlock the extension and encrypt your local data.

  • Note: Rabby does not store your password. If forgotten, please reset Rabby to create a new password.

3) Prepare your Ledger: Connect via USB, unlock with your PIN, and open the Ethereum app. Ensure the screen says “Application is ready.”

4) Authorize HID: Click Allow, select your device in the browser pop-up, and click Connect.

  • Tips: To add more addresses, click Add more addresses from Ledger on the success page. While adding more addresses, you can click Advanced settings to change the HD path or adjust the starting serial number to view addresses beyond the first 50.
